Duties & Responsibilities |
The Water Department is responsible for operating and maintaining the potable water treatment and the pumping and distribution facilities in the Town's operated water districts.
The Sewer Department is responsible for operating and maintaing the sanitary sewer collection and pumping systems in the Town's operated sewer districts.
The Town of Mount Pleasant has 9 Water Districts: Meadowbrook, Pleasantville, Kensico, Pleasant Ridge, Old Farm Hill, Apple Hill, Mill River, Mill River, Pocantico, and Bear Ridge Lake. Annual water quality reports are available at the Water Department for each of the districts.
